About this event

Ever wish you could ride a cross-country horse trial day in a lower stress environment? Come join us on our first Mock Cross Country Day experience! You will get the horse trial cross country day experience in a small group schooling environment.

Z's cross-country course will be well decorated, and course will be designed for levels from pre-starter through training. This event will be broken up into small groups 4-5 riders. Each group will be a 2hr session coached by Allie Anderson including:

  • Course walks with Allie before each group.
  • Small group warmups with Allie over fences
  • Feedback on your course round with Allie. Riders will be sent out individually 3,2,1, Go! Allie will give feedback and option to school "challenging" portion if needed.

Allie will offer course walks before each group. Riders in groups get warmed up over warm up fences by Allie. Then riders will be sent out individually to go ride their cross-country course (3,2,1 go!). Allie will give feedback and option to school "challenging" portion if needed.

Good for all levels, riders who want to have fun over a different course, green riders, green horses, anyone who wants a casual and fun outing under great supervision! No eliminations, if you are having trouble Allie will be there to help you succeed!

**NO refunds unless there is a waitlist, contact event coordinator for more information. **
**Riders are required to wear a certified vest and helmet, along with riding boots**

Huppert photography will be on site to capture pictures for the day!

Want to come watch? Would you like to save a little money? Ask about volunteering!"

We need volunteers to help run the clinics. You can do a half or whole day. You would need to arrive 30-45min before the clinic start time to help do any set up or stay 30-45min after to help with any take down/clean up. Half a day goes until noon or starts at noon. You would be asked to help keep the clinic running on time, answer any questions (where to park, where is the bathroom, is there water for the horses). Do not worry we will provide you with all this information beforehand, so you are ready to go. ***Perks: ½ off your entry fee, free stall if one is available during the time you volunteer, free lunch. ***
